
Senator Daniel W. Thatcher was elected to serve in the Utah State Senate in 2010. He is the chair of appropriations for Executive Offices and Criminal Justice, and chair of interim Political Subdivisions. He serves as a member of the Utah Sentencing Commission, the Mental Health Crisis Line Commission, and the School Safety and Crisis Line Commission. He is most recognized for his work with sentencing reform, access to justice, mental health services, suicide prevention, and school safety and crisis intervention.
